Goodbye Jane Austin, attaboy Oscar Wilde

“Adieu to disappointment and spleen. What are men to rocks and mountains?” Jane Austin couldn’t be more wrong in her epic “Pride and Prejudice”. Off-course we are rock and mountains and a bundle of disappointment. Love us for what we are and not what you want us to be. Oscar wilde got it absolutely right.

“It is not the perfect, but the imperfect, who have need of love. It is when we are wounded by our own hands, or by the hands of others, that love should come to cure us – else what use is love at all”- “The ideal Husband”-Oscar Wilde

The Darcy’s of the world are between the extremes of a Gentleman or waiting wolf and all shades of grey in between looking for their Elizabeth. Will we ever find love without having the right job, age, accent and looks. Will our quest be always a quest?

I hope not.

Remember love comes in all shapes and sizes. So does the robbers. Sometimes they come as friends, some times as family and sometimes social sanctions but their purpose remains the same.

Rob you of love.

So when you find love hold it tight, don’t let this world rob you from the same. And don’t  unnecessarily fuss about  finding “true love”. Remember “there is nothing you can know that isn’t known”-All you need is love. Beatles taught us that a long time ago.

Remember, Men are men, fallible and seriously very few of us ride a white horse.
